I am a graduated state-certified architect (ENSA Paris La Villette) and building engineer (ESTP) from France.
Throughout my double degree and professional experiences, I have developed a strong interest in projects that combine architectural sensitivity with technical solutions. I am particularly interested in projects on existing structures, which have become increasingly important in the construction industry in the last years. I would like to contribute to the preservation of architectural heritage by showcasing its value. My master thesis focuses on the relationship between new constructions and 19th-century railway architectural heritage in France, as part of the country's protected historical monuments.
During my Erasmus year at TU Vienna, I discovered a new approach to heritage and developed a strong affinity for the city, its environment, and its cultural and technical architectural heritage, which is where my dual education truly comes into play. With this mindset, I embarked on my final project, focused on the refurbishment of the Intercontinental Hotel and the Vienna Ice Skating Club, a significant architectural and urban project for the Austrian capital, proposing an alternative to the planned project.
